Turkey and Chilli Pie - School Meal

Ingredients:

- 1.2 kg diced turkey
- 1 (sachet)
- 450 grams onions, diced
- 700 grams mixed peppers, diced
- 4 tbsp oil
- 600 grams cold water
- 700 grams mushrooms diced
- 1 kg prepared puff pastry
- Egg wash

Method:

Sweat off onions and peppers in hot oil and reserve. Brown meat in pan you have cooked vegetables in. Add water, Schwartz for Chef Chilli Recipe Mix, onions and peppers simmer for 40 mins. Add mushrooms and simmer for 5 mins.

Place pie mix into an oven proof dish and allow to cool. Roll out puff pastry and cover pie mix. Egg wash pastry and bake in oven until golden brown.

Each portion serves 10 senior school children / adults and serves 20 junior school children.
