Potato Gratin

- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp
- 375 ml double cream
- 375 ml milk
- 10 grams Ground Nutmeg
- 60 grams butter
- Sea Salt to taste
- Black Peppercorns , freshly ground - to taste


Pre-heat the oven to 190ºC, 375ºF, Gas Mark 5.

Lay half the potato slices in a heatproof dish. Spread over half the Schwartz Chopped Garlic in Oil and season. Lay the other half of the potatoes, spread over the rest of the Garlic and season.

Blend the cream and milk together, pour it over the potatoes and sprinkle over the Schwartz Ground Nutmeg. Top with flecks of butter and bake in the oven for 1-1½ hours.
