Turkey Cannelloni - School Meal

- 1.2 kg lean turkey mince
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 300 grams mushrooms, sliced
- 1.2 kg tin chopped tomatoes
- 300 ml water
- 1 sachet
- 20 cannelloni pasta tubes
- 1 lt prepared cheese sauce
- 200 grams cheese, grated


Pre-heat the oven to 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6. Brown the minced turkey and onions together in a large pan. Drain off excess liquid, add the mushrooms and cook for 4-5minutes.

Stir in the tomatoes, water and Mediterranean Herb Recipe Mix. Bring to the boil stirring. Cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Allow to cool, then place a little of the turkey sauce into an ovenproof dish. Fill the pasta tubes with the remaining turkey sauce and place in the ovenproof dish.

Pour over the Cheese sauce and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake in the oven until golden brown.

Each portion serves 10 senior school children / adults and serves 20 junior school children.
