Cannelloni with Turkey - School Meal

- 1.2 kg lean minced turkey
- 1.2 kg tinned chopped tomatoes
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 300 grams mushrooms, sliced
- 300 ml water
- 1 (sachet)
- 20 cannelloni tubes
- 1 lt prepared cheese sauce
- 200 grams grated cheese


Brown the minced turkey and onion together in a large pan. Drain off any excess liquid. Add the mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Stir in the tomatoes, water and Schwartz for Chef Mediterranean Herb Recipe Mix. Bring to the boil stirring. Add the mushrooms. Cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Allow to cool, place a little of the turkey sauce into an oven proof dish.

Fill the pasta tubes and place in oven proof dish. Pour the cheese sauce over the top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven until golden brown.

Each portion serves 10 senior school children / adults and serves 20 junior school children.
