Vegetable Pasta or Salmon and Broccoli Pasta - School Meal

Number of Portions


- 1 kg salmon fillet, cooked
- Optional - replace salmon with pulses or vegetables
- 450 grams onion, diced
- 1.2 kg chopped tinned tomatoes
- 400 grams broccoli florets
- 600 ml water
- 1 (sachet)
- 15 ml oil
- 1 kg pasta


Sweat off onions in hot oil. Add water and tinned tomatoes, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 mins.

Add Schwartz for Chef Mediterranean Herb Recipe Mix and broccoli florets and simmer for 10 mins.

Add salmon and cook for 10mins.

Cook pasta in simmering water, as directed on the packet instructions. Place cooked pasta into a serving dish and pour salmon and broccoli sauce over the top and serve.

Each portion serves 10 senior school children / adults and serves 20 junior school children.
