Kedgeree - School Meal


- 1 kg long grain rice
- 1 (sachet)
- 2 lt water
- 450 grams onions, diced
- 900 grams smoked haddock, skinned and cubed
- 450 grams frozen peas, defrosted
- 5 hard-boiled eggs, quartered
- 25 ml oil


Heat oil and sweat off onions and rice in a pan. Add water and Schwartz for Chef Indian Curry Recipe Mix, bring to the boil.

Allow to simmer for about 10 mins then add smoked haddock and garden peas and continue to cook until rice is cooked. Serve with boiled eggs.

Each portion serves 10 senior school children / adults and serves 20 junior school children.
