Ground Beef and Pinto beans

- 1 kg lean minced beef
- 250 grams onion - chopped
- 1 green pepper – chopped
- 2 garlic cloves - crushed
- 1x400 grams tin pinto beans – drained
- 800 grams chopped tinned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 50 grams Fajita Seasoning
- 1 green chilli – thinly sliced


In a pan colour the beef with the onion, garlic and green pepper.

Drain the fat, add the tomato puree and fajita seasoning and cook for a further 2 minutes.

Add the tinned tomatoes and beans, mix thoroughly.

Cook over a low heat until thickened and tender, about 1 hour.

Sprinkle over the sliced green chilli and serve.
