Add rosemary and thyme to a pasta e fagioli dish

Rosemary can be added to a pasta e fagioli meal

Lovers of creative cuisine may wish to follow the advice of one chef and try a pasta e fagioli recipe.

The food writer Rose Prince shared this dish, which is served with pancetta twists, in the Daily Telegraph.

To begin, she recommended heating oil and garlic in a pan with stock until fragrant.

Next add rosemary and thyme into the pan with tomatoes, Ms Prince suggested.

All that is required after this is to add cannellini beans and pasta, bringing to the boil and simmering until done.

Ms Prince claimed all Italian children try this meal at least once.

Her serving suggestion involved twisting pancetta slices and frying until crisp.

Alternative beans, such as borlotti, white haricot or flageolets were recommended, but the chef advised against darker varieties such as kidney beans.

Five cookery books have been published by Ms Prince, who is also working on a new version of her Good Food Producers guide.
