Add herbs to gourmet burgers

Dont leave herbs out of burgers

Professional caterers who offer burgers as a staple inclusion on their menu should not be afraid of coming up with new ways to make them really stand apart from the crowd.

So many vendors offer this option, so it can be difficult to give diners a reason to keep coming back to you for more.

However, the simple addition of culinary herbs to the preparation is one easy way of offering something truly unique.

Celebrity chef Nigel Slater suggested lacing the meat with the likes of garlic and coriander - as well as Parmesan cheese - in order to make something memorable.

In an article for the Guardian, he said: "Burgers of minced pork or lamb seem to call for more thoughtful seasoning."

Why not respond to this by coming up with exciting new flavour combinations of your own.

The addition of a relish or salsa from our Bick's range could really finish this off.
