Fish pie could be a great Jubilee special

Fish pie can be given an edge with herbs and spices

The Queen's Jubilee is just around the corner and it is not too late for chefs to start giving some thought to any specials they could plan to serve for the occasion.

In an article for the Guardian, Sat Baines - a celebrity chef who runs the Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms in Nottingham - recommended a fish pie for the event.

He explained that it is a quintessential British classic, which makes it ideal for a traditionally patriotic occasion such as this one.

Chefs who wish to bring their own distinctive twist to such a meal by introducing their own exciting new combinations of culinary herbs.
