Ginger is perfect for Vietnamese rolls

There are many places for caterers to go for inspiration if they want to try and bring something truly different to their menu.

In an article for the Independent, author of The Urban Kitchen Gardener cookbook Tom Moggach shared a recipe for Vietnamese-inspired summer rolls.

These could make a fantastic starter, light bite - or even a sharing option when combined with similar dishes in a tapas arrangement.

Preparation involved the use of culinary spices such as chillies as well as ginger, which will give the rolls a sweet twist.
