Michelin starred chef suggests seasoning her chicken and chorizo dish with thyme sage and pepper

Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett has shared her inspirational recipes for foodies to try at home.

In her article with the Guardian, she suggests making her chicken with chorizo, peppers and sage dish.

"Ask your butcher to joint the chicken into legs, thighs and breasts for you and cut the breasts in half. This can be served hot or warm and it's also great cold the next day," she explained.

The chicken then needs to be browned on a frying pan and the chorizo, seasoned with thyme, sage and freshly ground black pepper, should be fried with diced peppers.

Pour all the fried ingredients into a roasting tin, zest with a lemon and bake for 40 minutes in a 160C or gas mark 4 preheated oven.

This dish is one of many in her book, A Taste of Home: 200 Quck and Easy Recipes.

Additionally, she recommends a poached cod and lentils dish seasoned with parsley, fennel, coriander and thyme.
