Streatham to host culinary festival

There is no better place to pick up some inspirational recipe ideas than at a culinary festival.

When a town centre is overrun by restaurants, chefs and food sellers all demonstrating how to use interesting ingredients at home, people come away feeling like the next Raymond Blanc.

Things will be no different in Streatham this March as people learn how to get the most out of their Mesquite Seasoning and Mint Sauce.

The Streatham Food Festival will return on March 24th and run until the end of the month.

As well as plenty of open air food stalls, there will be free food tastings, cooking competitions and - most importantly - plenty of demonstrations and workshops.

One of the highlights of the show will be the Earl Ferris pie eating competition, which will sit nicely alongside the Railway's Independent Ale Festival.

So if you are in the area and are looking for some culinary inspiration, the Streatham Food Festival could be for you.
