Herbs and spices can add flavour to any kebabs

Rosemary can really add to the flavour of a kebab

Kebabs are an excellent, versatile dish for caterers to serve as there is a great deal of scope to innovate with particular foods.

In an article for the Guardian, celebrity chef Nigel Slater suggested the use of a number of different herbs and spices to really give a different flavour to a variety of kebabs.

The likes of parsley and even a mustard-based dressing are good to go with your meats, whichever you decide to go with.

However, the key to a good kebab, according to Mr Slater, is rosemary and he recommended marinating meat with oil and the herb before tucking a sprig of it between each scallop.
