Bring herbs to a meat balls dish

Parsley complements beef meatballs

Meat balls are a classic dish that is a perennial favourite with diners - so it would be easy for caterers to simply offer a basic version of this dish.

However, in order to really set your restaurant's offerings apart from the crowd, why not try and come up with a way to bring your own unique twist to the recipe?

In an article for the Guardian, celebrity chef Yotam Ottolenghi recommended throwing in a wide range of culinary herbs in to the mixture when preparing the meal.

He specified that dill, coriander and parsley would work particularly well in beef meatballs with broad beans and lemon.

We really advocate culinary innovation here at Schwartz for Chef, so why not try coming up with alternative flavour pairings of your own concoction?

Simply think about what herbs and spices would work well with the other ingredients - and don't be afraid to experiment!
