Green Pesto is getting more popular by the day

Green Pesto is getting more popular by the day

Italian cuisine has long been a British staple. Pasta Carbonara has a second home here in Britain, pizza can be bought in every city in the country and Green Pesto can be found in fridges up and down the country.

And if further proof was needed that Italian food is a firm favourite, restaurant chain Pesto has provided it by announcing plans to open three new restaurants.

The first Pesto in the Pub eatery opened in 2006 and there is already one in Liverpool and Glasgow.

However, one of the great things about Italian food is its simplicity. You don't have to eat out at a fine restaurant to experience authentic dishes that are so tasty they could have been cooked in Italy.

Green Pesto is the perfect example. Simply add a dash to some fresh pasta along with a handful of roast veg and your tastebuds can be transported to the Mediterranean in minutes.
